          Step back a bit Loz, I cant fit all of you in the picture Amy shouted to her mate

            The idea was that you get the park in the picture and a little bit of me, not all of me Lauren replied.

            Lauren was visiting Amy in New York, where Amy was at university. They were spending the day in central park and Amy was practicing her photography skills.

            Fine! Ill move back, you stay where you are. Amy shouted back at her.

            Amy moved back in order to fit Lauren in picture.

            Amy, watch out Lauren screamed but it was too late. Amy had gone too far and fallen on to the lap of a young man sitting on the bench behind them.

            Oh, I am so sorry Amy said to this young stranger

            Thats fine, the man said looking Amy up and down.

            Oh my Goodness! You are Nicky from Westlife arent you? Lauren said as she ran over to the tongue-tied pair.

            I sure am. We are here filming our video to our latest video Nicky said

            You are all here? Lauren screamed down Amys ear

            Lauren asked Nicky if she could meet the rest of them. Amy did not really know who Westlife were. Having been in America for two years, she had missed everything that had been happening back in dear old England. They all decided to hire bikes to get them to Manhattan quickly. Lauren rode of in the direction where Nicky had pointed her in. Amy, on the other hand was cycling slowly. Nicky slowed down in order to talk to Amy.

            Its a lovely city isnt it? Where do you come from originally? Nicky asked Amy

            London. Im a Londoner through and through. Ill be back there as soon as I have finished my course. Amy replied

            Nicky and Amy smiled at each other and continued riding. They both felt so comfortable with each other. Nicky liked that. He liked that she treated him as a real human being and not just a pop star with lots of money. He wondered if she liked him at all.

            When they finally arrived at the hotel Lauren was already there waiting at the door. They left their bikes outside and walked into the hotel. Lauren was bursting with excitement and Amy thought she might explode. Nicky went to get the boys. They came down all dressed in casual clothes.

            Hey do you girls want to come on a boat trip with us? We have hired a boat to take us along the river. We all want to see the statue of Liberty Nicky said all in one breath

            Sure Lauren said replying for both herself and Amy.

            It was early evening when they all finally boarded that boat. Nicky sat up front and asked Amy to join him. Lauren got right to charming Mark. To Amys surprise, Mark was flirting back. Amy smiled to herself. Lauren would never change. If she saw a man she liked she would go and get him.

            What you smiling about? Nicky asked softly

            Nothing Amy replied

            As the sun went down on the city that never sleeps Nicky turned to look at Amy. She was stunned at the view she could see from the boat. Nicky smiled at the look on her face. Amy turned to look at him.

            What? She asked

            Nothing Nicky replied

            Nicky leaned over to face Amy. He looked deep into her eyes and smiled. She smiled back. He moved closer and kissed her on the lips.

            Oh my God! Look at them two? Lauren screeched from the back of the boat.

            Amy and Nicky turned to look at her and burst out laughing. As the sun, finally set Amy snuggled into Nickys arms. Neither of them knew what the future would hold, but for that night, none of it mattered. All that mattered was that they were together.
